In the heart of Adjumani District, a region that has generously hosted thousands of displaced families while battling its own economic challenges, a silent crisis is unfolding. Every day, young children who should be playing and learning are instead scrambling for food. Teenage mothers, abandoned by partners and often rejected by their families, fight to keep their infants alive with nothing but dust and tears.

But there is hope. On October 9th, 2026Proven Foundation is launching a life-changing outreach mission. We are calling on you, compassionate individuals, local businesses, and global partners to help us rewrite the stories of these forgotten families.

The crisis in Adjumani

Adjumani is home to a high concentration of child-led homesteads (households where both parents are deceased or absent, leaving children as young as 12 to care for their siblings) and abandoned teen mothers who have been cast out with no survival skills.

Without intervention, these children face:

  • Malnutrition and starvation.

  • Dropping out of school due to lack of fees or scholastic materials.

  • Teen mothers resorting to dangerous survival tactics.

  • Perpetuating cycles of poverty and early pregnancy.

Through your donations, Proven Foundation will deliver a comprehensive care package designed not just for survival, but for long-term restoration.
